Sofia is in top 10 cities in the world to live in. The ranking of the best places for living abroad is made from “Huffington Post”. The Bulgarian capital is on the 10th place and is even ahead of the famous Spanish city of Barcelona.
According to the ranking, there are several reasons Sofia to take the prestigious position. First of all the Bulgarian capital is one of the cheapest European cities according to the rentals of residential areas. Furthermore, the city is rich in historical landmarks to discover. And last but not least – the cheapest beaches on the continent are at your fingertips.
Bulgaria is not for a first time in the rankings of the edition. Among the crowned Bulgarian cities so far are the ski resort Bansko and towns like Veliko Tarnovo and Plovdiv. The first place in the ranking of the greatest cities for living abroad in 2016 is saved for the Spanish city of Valencia because of the low prices, beautiful beaches and amazing food.
In the top three in the list of the magazine are the leader Toronto, Canada and Antwerp, Belgium. Before the Bulgarian capital rank also Taipei / Taiwan /, Sydney / Australia /, Santiago / Chile /, Vienna / Austria /, Singapore and Mexico City / Mexico /.
