Until February 10th you can vote for Sozopol in the competition for the selection of the best destination in Europe. The winner shall be determined by online voting at http://www.europeanbestdestinations.com/best-of-europe/european-best-destinations-2017/.
Among the competitors of the Bulgarian coastal town with a rich history dating from hundred years are Brussels, Prague, Paris, Gdansk, Madrid, Milan, Vienna, Athens, Porto, Berlin, Rim, London.
Sozopol nomination came after last year’s first place in the same competition. For a winner in the category for the attraction has been selected the castle “In love with the Wind” in Ravadinovo. The Interest in the winning destination in different categories increases repeatedly shows the eight-year history of the competition.
At least 15% more tourists visit the locations chosen by the Europeans I the next year. The participators in the three weeks of voting are usually over 40 million people. The idea is the best destinations in Europe to be assessed and recommended by tourists who have already visited them and were impressed by what they saw.
