Its not a secret that Bulgaria is rich in healing mineral water. But almost no one knows that St Paul himself blessed one of them. The significance of the springs in Ognyanovo was found from the Romans. Emperor Trajan build the town Nicopolis ad Nestum to honour the victory over the Dacians in 105-106 AD. You can visit the Monastery of Great Martyr St George the Victorious in the town of Hadzhidimovo rebuilt in the 19th century and a lot of other churches from that period.
