A maximum of two people under an umbrella on the beach this summer

A maximum of two people will be able to relax under a beach umbrella this summer if they are not family members. The umbrellas themselves with their adjacent beach accessories will have to be placed at a distance of at least 4,5 meters from each other. These are part of the measures outlined by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Tourism Mariyana Nikolova for the upcoming summer season as part of efforts to curb the COVID-19. On the beach there should be an opportunity to pay through a POS terminal – both for umbrellas and sunbeds, as well as for the entertainment offered on the strip, the order reads.

Among the instructions of the Minister is still mandatory to wear a mask in the accommodation, except for the consumption of food and beverages. If the guests do not have their own, it must be provided free of charge, the document says. In case a tourist falls ill, he must be isolated in a special room designated for the purpose, in which I will be served by a single employee until the arrival of the medical workers. Hotels and guest houses will not be obliged to enter into a contract with a particular medical institution, and their actions will be prescribed in this case by the health authorities.

In the hotels, guests will have to keep a distance of 1.5 meters from each other, and at check-in – from three meters.
