Bulgaria is developing numerous marketing campaigns on the German market through which it advertises the various niche tourism products it offers. “Apart from specialized vacations, we will expect German tourists to visit our beautiful and sunny seaside resorts next summer,” said Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Tourism Mariyana Nikolova during a meeting with the manager of the German-Bulgarian Chamber of Industry and Commerce Mitko Vassilev.
The Bulgarian Chamber of Industry and Commerce will be our partner and ambassador in terms of information exchange related to the security of German citizens traveling to our country for tourism, Nikolova explained. Our common goal is for the information to arrive on time and correctly to the institutions in Germany – the German Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Robert Koch Institute, responsible for publishing information related to COVID-19 when German citizens travel abroad in the coming months, said the Deputy Prime Minister.
According to Minister Nikolova, Germany is traditionally among the leading trade and economic partners of our country and is in the top 3 markets for inbound tourism in our country. Our country is recognizable by German guests as a very good place for rest and active recreation, with high quality services and reasonable prices, she added.
