You can learn how to prepare traditional Melnik ceramics and wood carving on 23rd an24th of June in the smallest Bulgarian town Melnik. Then the second edition of the Melnik Days of Revival Culture Festival will take place. Guests of the event will be able to enjoy traditional icons and stained glass.
Formations for authentic folklore will show the audience old Bulgarian traditions and customs. Festival guests will be able to hear Melnik’s ritual songs as well as enjoy an exhibition of woven and colourful costumes. Besides the smallest town in Bulgaria, Melnik is also known for its unique wine variety – a large miller vine, which was allegedly one of the favourites of British Prime Minister Winston Churchill.
