The site “Tourist News from Bulgaria” (https://travelbulgarianews.bg/) received the award in the Annual Awards for the 2018th year of the Ministry of Tourism. The award was for the material of Alexander Popkonstantinov “Trayanovi Door Fortress” in the category for online publication. The statue of a golden rose and a certificate, thanks to the voices of thousands of readers, was received by the owner of the media Vladimir Chugunov. The award of the winner was handed over by the Member of Parliament Daniela Saveklieva.
A total of 16 were the winners of the glamorous ceremony at the Military Club in Sofia. In the category “Tourist Attraction / Object”, the prize unlearned the most visited landmark on the Black Sea Coast Castle “In love with the wind” in the village of Ravadinovo. The prize was received by the owner of the attraction Georgi Tumpalov and the statuette and the diploma was presented by the deputy chairman of the Confederation of Employers and Industrialists in Bulgaria Boryana Manolova. The castle was among the leaders in two more categories: “The Spirit of Bulgaria” and “Innovations”.
The Bulgarian Union of Balneology and Spa was also awarded in the category of specialized tourism. The prize was received by the chairman of the organization Siyka Katsarova. Etura, the municipalities of Bansko, Velingrad, Primorsko, Sandanski and Dryanovo were also awarded. The journalist’s prize for publishing in print media was grabbed by Natalia Malcheva from the newspaper Trud, while the TV material prize went to Zhivko Konstantinov from Nova TV for the second time.
