If you’ve always dreamed of being a scavenger, you have this chance if you visit Borovets on January 20th. Then in the winter resort will celebrate the day of snow with various adventures and surprises. As early as 9 a.m., the smallest kids will be able to enjoy free games and adventures at the Borokids Children’s Park. The fun for them will end at 3 p.m.
From 10 a.m., 11 a.m., 1 p.m. and 2 p.m., enthusiasts who are still not familiar with white sports will be able to get free ski and snowboard lessons. Between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m., adrenaline lovers will be able to participate in treasure hunting with the Bulgarian free ski and extreme style ski association and to follow demonstrations of the Mountain Rescue Service.
Those who want to touch the legend of Bulgarian skiing Petar Popangelov and get an autograph from him should take the time to follow the slalom race in front of the Rila Hotel in the resort. The starting time is 12 o’clock and Popangelov will be the judge and commentator of the race. Between 12 and 2 p.m., you can enjoy free snowboard demonstrations and lessons at Snow Park Borosport with the wild girls from Wildberries.
Throughout the day, the daily lift card for children from 7 to 13 years will cost 1 leva /approximately 50 euro cents/ and the funds collected will go to the Petar Popangelov Foundation and friends for Borovets.
