The building of a water park started in the centre of Sofia. The new swimming pools and attractions will be part of the park’s expansion in the Zona B-5 district of Sofia. Five outdoor pools are planned. Three of them will be children’s, one for adults with a depth of 1.40 meters and one with hydromassage jets, announced Sofia Municipality. The total area of the project is 6600 sq.m.

There are three slides for fun, two of which will have one groove and the other one with three parallel slides. For spa lovers and mineral water treatment, an indoor pool with mineral water from the Batalova Vodenitsa deposit will be built. A spa centre will also be available for lovers of leisure.

The project includes more fast food restaurants, deck chairs and relaxation benches in green areas, 2 fountains. Picnics, sunbathing and playgrounds will be created.
