For another year in Delchevo they will choose the best local wineries and will dance the traditional Bulgarian dance horo to celebrate the wine festival. Last year more than 100 participants competed in the Best Homemade Drinks Contest. Except of the Bulgarian producers took part also Greek and Netherlands masters as well. This year’s festival will be held on February 10 and 11.
The best producers of wine and rakia /Bulgarian brandy/ will be honored on Saturday, and from 10.30 a.m. in the “Baira“ area will traditionally be cut the vineyards of Delchevo. Traditionally in the square, immediately afterwards, everyone will get to the dance floor. With songs and dances, many local artists and bands will rejoice. Some of the audience that participates in the festival are also cheerfully cheering the guests with funny masks and carnival costumes.
