Wine and rock will conquer Plovdiv between 22nd and 24th September. Then in the city under the hills will be held two festivals part of a whole program – Sounds of Ages and Wines of Ages. And while the musical part of the festival is already well known, the wine part is new and will be held for the first time this year. The audience will be able to enjoy three world-class rock concerts.
On the evening of 22 will perform Devin Townsend Project and Orchestra. Fans from all over the world of the Canadian metal idol Devin Townsend will come to the Bulgarian town to see how his partnership with the Plovdiv Opera Orchestra will take place on the first program evening of the festival.
On the 23rd stage of the Ancient Theater, will hit the progressive and hard rock Manfred Mann’s Earth Band. The culmination of the musical program will be on the last day of the festival – September 24th, when Marillion will come out on stage in front of fans from Bulgaria and all over the world. The band visits Bulgaria for the first time.
During the day, the wine fans will be able to taste over 250 wines from selected 40 Bulgarian wineries. The grape vendor fans will also be able to buy bottles of beverages that have impressed them most. The Bulgarian wine becomes more and more popular in the last years.
