Winter Bike Duel 2014

From 14th to February 16th Pamporovo hosted the fourth edition of the traditional snow bike race – Winter Bike Duel 2014. More than 60 competitors participated in the contest.

To the three main categories, known so far, has been added one more category – Snowscoot / Ski bike, which includes participants, practicing both disciplines. The new and interesting this year was the race trail, located on the Four Cross track of Bike Park Pamporovo. The National Border Cross Championship, taking place at the end of March, will be held on this same trail. The competition consisted of direct eliminations. During the first day the participants took advantage of the well prepared track, but unfortunately on the second day of the competition, due to extremely high temperatures, the difficulty of the race track increased. However, this did not stop the competitors from showing impressive skills. Upon the successful completion of the events, the organizers are preparing for the summer season.
