Free ski training and a bunch of games are waiting the children who choose to visit the Bulgarian ski resort Borovets on January 14 together with their parents. The kids will receive special equipment, again completely free, in the children’s snow park “Borokids.” The promotion is because on Janusry 4 is celebrated the World Day of the snow. The oldest winter resort in Bulgaria will again become part of it.
Normally the lift pass for children’s ski area costs 10 lev / approximately 5 euro/. The price includes ski training, helmet, safety vest and insurance. If the offer includes rental equipment for thekids the price rises to 18 lev or approximately 9 euro. However, only in about 4-5 days children learn basic techniques and make their first successful steps in winter sports while playing.
For the children is organsed also a treasure hunt around the rope city. While having fun they will also learn about avalanche safety. On the fest will be provided also snow activities for disadvantaged children. Mountain rescuers teams will demonstrate rescue operations with dogs who find lost people in the mountains.
The children will not be the only one who receive gifts for the holiday. Anyone who wants to make their first steps in skiing or snowboarding can also get a free lesson on January 14 in Borovets. During the celebration, the daily lift pass for children aged from 7 to 13 years will cost only 1 lev or 50 eurocents. All the money that are collected from the sale of the passes will go to the new fund for supporting child and youth sport “Peter Popangelov and friends to Borovets.”
